The POLE WIDZENIA (FIELD OF VISION)

   Art Studio offers painting, drawing and composition classes, which are open to everyone, regardless of age and aptitude.
Classes shall be held in small (up to 10 people) age groups.
   Children 6-11 years  shall be acquainted with various painting and drawing techniques; classes shall be focused on developing their artistic imagination and sensitivity, introducing the participants into the world of arts through play.
   Children 11-15 years  shall develop their skills in various painting and drawing techniques, also through spatial exercises; they shall learn to observe nature and will be acquainted with the fundamentals of painting and composition, e.g. colour and hue, light and shade, perspective.
   Junior high school students  classes shall be focused on perfecting their painting and drawing techniques basing on studying still life and live models.
   Senior high school students  classes shall consist in recreating nature: studying still life and working with live models, taking into account the character and individuality of a young artist.
   Adults  classes shall introduce them into all secrets of artistic techniques; programme may be personalized depending on the skills of participants.

   We shall be teaching the participants how to penetrate the observed reality, perceive details, harmony and contrasts. We are convinced that artistic sensitivity, examination of nature, the ability to synthesize and analyze, experimenting, openness  are indispensable for being able to actively function in the contemporary world.
   We shall also concentrate on acquainting our students with artistic achievements of both old masters and contemporary artists and explaining painting or composition problems on examples of the greatest historic works of art available in our library.

ABOUT US

   The POLE WIDZENIA foundation was established in 2004. The main area in which it carries out its statutory purposes is the POLE WIDZENIA Art Studio, which commenced its activities in September 2004.
   Classes shall be conducted i.a. by: Olga Lubacz, Maria Przyszychowska and Piotr Kopik.
